Our favorite for this Friday (please feel free to overlook the fact that this is Saturday instead of Friday), is in regard to a little celebration in our house this week. On January 22, 2008 we celebrated exactly one year to the day that P "asked her Heavenly Father into her heart." We met with the children's pastor at our church on Wednesday night in regard to P getting baptized, so stay tuned for more info on that. What a thrill it is for us to see her still so excited about the choice that she made a year ago and continuing to walk this journey with her as she is choosing to take the next step of obedience.
So, on Thursday night we had a little "birthday" party. We had cupcakes and a candle and sang Happy "Jesus" Birthday to you. We've got the copyright on those cutting edge lyrics, just for the record.
We love this little girl like nobody's business and can't wait to see the Father do great things in and through her life. We love you little Peyt and are so very proud of you!
